Spring rolls, white noodle with all the green you can eat. Is on the menu.
Pretty authentic. I was hesitant with Yelp showing 3.5 stars. The place was busy with all Vietnamese around 5pm on a Monday evening. Ordered the spicy pho soup (hue?), pork shank with lettus wrap, the huge omelette-looking thing, papaya salad with jerky. Watch the other patrons eat. Don't be afraid to use your hands. Will be back.
Best banh xeo in Little Saigon
Great food and great atmosphere and great service!! The banh xeo crepe has a great presentation. Great flavor and taste. When you eat , just wait a bit before even starting the next bite. You will discover the subtle flavor of the other ingredients used. Egg rolls done the original way. Very crispy and I was amazed at the flavor. Flavor just pops out of the roll ...sublimely done. The service is top notch. Very friendly and helpful.
I like their bun rieu and their mi Quang. Their bun rieu was pretty good but I wish they put some more crab cakes in there. We also got the banh xeo and it was pretty good but I thought it had too much coconut tasting. Then the banh beo was too thin and sticky. It wasn’t that great compared to other ones that I had. We came during a weekday with no line for dinner.
Very yummy banh xeo. Good portions with clean atmosphere and friendly staff. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in trying real Vietnamese food.
Everything seems really fresh and the presentation is nice. Coupled with a relatively modern decor and you have a good eating experience. The dishes are really consistent. Comes out the same elective we go there.
Delightfully rude and moderately tasty. The wine list is good and the wait is usually short. I like to go when I'm depressed. The service suits feelings of sadness and desperation. It's a good place for a 60th or 70th birthday lament.
One of the best Central Vietnamese food restaurants. They have really banh xeo - vietnamese crepe. They also have many wrapping foods, the typical central vietnamese foods. The bum bo hue is great with beef flank. The restaurant is extremely crowded so expected long wait. You can call in to put ur name in the list.
Easily one of my favorite all-time best restaurants anywhere. Not only the food the service but the beautiful ambience makes one feel really good about themselves. Chris the manager is a very good host and the wait staff are all professional.
Authentic Vietnamese restaurant, taste food , not greasy and reasonable prices.
Excellent food. Good prices.
Excellent vibes and very attentive service. The meals were crisp and yummy. Will surely recommend this place to my friends. Affordable rates and large portions. Good job.
My Couple friends told me best restaurant but it was closed at 9 pm so hopeless, we drove to Westminster (heavy traffic freeways) from in Hollywood, California. Next time we'll go evening. We miss it ðŸ‘🤪â¤ðŸ‘‹
I got the Banh Beo and the Mi Quang here. Overall it was good and not bad. Not the best I've had but overall very good and the service was very fast.
Nice portion! Mi Quang is different from most others but still good. Banh xeo is excellent. Extra crispy!!!.Decent atmosphere! Nice staff. Clean restroom. Is great to have friends to share your dishes
So crowded thus we waited for an hour to get our table. The foods are amazingly good.
Food here is great! Had the crispy crepes (banh xeo dac biet), steamed rice cakes (banh beo), and the rice noodles with beef and egg rolls (bun thit nuong, cha gio); it was all good. Make sure to bring mints or gum if you have fish sauce. Service was good as well. Parking can be found in the adjacent lot; shared with other businesses. Restaurant and restrooms were clean as well. Wanted to try the salmon belly but they didn't have it; what they did have was good!
I went there 2:15pm in a weekday afternoon, the place was still 80% packed. The food was great. I had to buy a couple of their signature sauce home it was that good. Their banh xeo was the signature dish I believe, wrap them with all the herbs and lettuce it was just delicious
First time here. Great food
Food is good. Servers are attentive. I'd recommend the Bún Bò Huê'. Which was what I'd gotten. And the tumeric-based Vietnamese Crêpe. Which was what my friend had ordered. They're both very yummy. :-)
Really great food. Some of the best Vietnamese food that I have experienced outside of Vietnam. You be sorry if you don’t try it.
My favorite place for banh xeo/vietnamese crepes. Always crispy and generous with toppings. They serve it differently here with rice paper so you have to wrap your own rolls. Rolled up deliciousness! Ive also tried the salmon skin which are yummy and the fresh steamed pork platter which is also served with rice paper. Service is terrible here on the weekend so hit this place up during the week!
Very clean environment...long line...good noodle
I constantly arrive getting some food in this spot. I liked the fast service and well made food. Great work.
Good was pretty good. Service was what you would expect from Vietnamese restaurants in the Little Saigon area.
The food is delicious, the wait can be treacherous.
I took my mom here and she keep saying why you want Banh Xeo here. She said dont ever ask her to come here again. Pricey for Viet food vs. quality. Banh Xeo is ok but the shrimp is tiny compared to where we usually eat at Van Restaurant. $6.75 there and much tastier, here is $10.95 so you can imagine the big difference with not better quality but worse. I always bring Banh Trang with me to eat there so the idea of wrapping it in rice paper is not new to me. And Why pay for something more expensive but less quality? Bun Bo Hue is edible compared to what you can eat at a friend's house where you dont expect much out of it but definitely not restaurant quality. Trang Tien across same plaza has a tad better Bun Bo Hue. So far, only tried those two and I'd try a couple more other food to see before stop coming for awhile. Dont like paying for overpriced things. Yet for some reason always busy and people wait in line for such! I dont understand the majority of people.
Great traditional food.
Great food and service will come back soon
Good place for Vietnamese food. Their Banh Xeo is so yummy, not very oily like other places but very crunchy and tasty. The fish sauce for all the dishes is very good!
Great Banh Xeo!! Probably the best Banh Xeo in all of Orange County, CA. I come here with my amazing Vietnamese Friends and it's awesome.
Very delicious and different Vietnam foods. Bhan xeo is great, Bun zza is good and VNM coffee is excellent.
Clean, bright and airy space. Bánh xèo was crunchy but not oily.
Food was great! The banh xeo was big and crispy (wish it had more shrimp and pork. Was pretty much all beansprouts). The bun bo hue was a spicy in a good way! (level 3 spicy) and had a nice authentic flavor outside of the heat. The Mi Quang was delicious. First time having it so I can't compare it but the flavor was that of peanuts and lemon. My first thought was a Vietnamese pad thai noodle soup. My only complaint was that the noodles we're are broken like it was made with the leftovers in the noodles bag. Overall, the meal was still great and I'd be happy to go back. Hopefully with unbroken egg noodles
